Everyone is wondering about the water quality here. The Tarpon are here and we are catching them. The water in North Pine Island Sound, North Matlacha Pass, Charlotte Harbor and on the beaches from North Captiva up to Boca Grande is super clean. All of the dirty muddy Lake O runoff is down in San Carlos Bay, Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel, It makes its way about halfway up in Pine Island Sound but we have been seeing tons of tarpon and the conditions have been great.

Ever wonder how big Tarpon can get ? This is the current all tackle world record 286 lbs. That's a big fish !!!

My pal and fellow Fly Fishing Guide Joe Harley was fishing a favorite spot today and a Pink Flamingo landed very close to them, Awesome that he got this Photo, I have not heard of any Flamingo sightings in this area recently.
